Who is the programme for?
The BA is the first step to having a successful career in business and management. If you’re aspiring to become a leader in business or obtain senior management positions, this programme is the first step. You will expand your knowledge of business and develop the skill set needed to build and grow an organisation, particularly in a globalised world.
The programme is also ideal for those interested in pursuing a postgraduate qualification including an MSc in Business Management, an MBA or Chartered Management Institution’s postgraduate qualifications.
How will you learn?
Besides the traditional methods of lectures and seminars, GISMA also offers students access to our Virtual Learning Environment, Elite. This enables you to learn outside the classroom by accessing an abundance of study materials. You will also be required to collaborate with others through group projects.
In addition to these methods, you will also have access to our online library facilities and learning resources from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Financial Times.
Programme structure
During your first year, you will be introduced to the foundation elements of Business Management through modules such as Essentials of Management and Principles of Marketing. Years 2 and 3 will build on the knowledge you acquired in your first year and help you develop your understanding of the areas you are particularly interested in through several elective modules.
From the start of your programme, GISMA and The University of Law focus on creating individuals that are employable and have excellent potential in the workplace. You will find that throughout your programme, various modules focus on improving your employability.
